And it still is snowing...

Written April 22, 2013

So, living in Wyoming means about 8 months of winter. The snow is coming down heavily today, April 22.  But after living here over a decade I'm finally used to it.  Anyway to get through this time of year I often do indoor projects, this weekend I decided to devote my craft skills to making a new skirt. (those are my gas tanks for soldering in the background).

In the shop I've been busy...I recently made a Rose Window Necklace which some say look like snowflakes. I have made earrings and necklaces each with these hand sawn one-of-a-kind circles.  They are inspired by beautiful Gothic cathedrals' rose windows. Another recent project is this gorgeous rainbow moonstone ring with turquoise. The moonstone is clear yet has a super irridescent flash, really a pretty stone. It is available for sale here: http://www.isabeljewelry.com/products/magic-irridescent-rainbow-moonstone-ring

Speaking of magical gemstone flash, I custom made a fun pair of earrings last week. The customer had bought the opal in Australia 20 years ago and finally wanted it set in asymetrical earrings.

Springtime in Wyoming...stay busy.
